RDG Nodes¶
We have 12 Dell PowerEdge R760xa nodes for GPU jobs plus 1 additional node purchased due to contributions from researchers. The block of 12 nodes contain 4 x Nvidia Ampere A100 80GB cards and the one contains 4 x Nvidia Hopper H100 80GB cards.
Accessing the RDG nodes
The RDG nodes with Ampere cards installed are restricted to users within the Science and Engineering (S&E) faculty only.
GPU high memory
The RDG nodes with Ampere cards installed have more RAM available than
standard GPU nodes, supporting up to 240G RAM per GPU (12 cores).
Authorised users may use the -l gpuhighmem
submission with up to 20G per
core (-l h_vmem=20G
) to request larger amounts of RAM on these nodes.
